Duke (2-0) passed for 367 yards and added 288 yards on the ground to better the 644 yards posted by Appalachian State against the Eagles in 2009 (Oct. 10). Throw Out Preseason Many owners will make the mistake of looking at the preseason stats to find the diamond-in-the-rough player, but this is the regular season guys. Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys come back from a 12-4 season missing some key players and higher expectations. The 2015 Dallas Cowboys start the regular season much different than last season. They expectations weigh heavier coming back from a 12-4 season, NFC East title, and playoff win. The game was televised live on ESPN and ESPNews.   Senior DL Javon Hargrave earned the team’s MVP honor after posting seven tackles, 4.5 for a loss of 16 yards, 2.5 sacks, and two hu rrie s to lead the Bulldogs to the season opening win. S.C. State’s win extended the MEAC’s edge, 9-2, in the all-time series record. With inclement weather in the Orlando area, the game was delayed minutes shy of two hours.
