Kings Capture Stanley Cup with Dramatic Game 5 Double OT Victory

The Los Angeles Kings captured their second Stanley Cup in the past three seasons with a dramatic double overtime victory in Game 5 over the New York Rangers. The Kings won the series 4-1. Defensemen Alec Martinez scored off a rebound shot from Tyler Toffoli at 14:43. Martinez became the first NHL player to score the game winning goal that lifted his team to the Stanley Cup Finals and Stanley Cup.

If this 2013 NBA Finals series has proven anything, it is that coaching plays a huge role in determining a win. Both Eric Spoelstra and Greg Popovich have had to make the right adjustments to give their team the winning edge causing the back-and-forth see-saw of wins and losses. What adjustments in Game 5 should the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs make to get a win?

The Miami Heat are one game away from returning to The NBA Finals for a third straight year. They defeat the Indiana Pacers in Game 5 90-79.

Teams that win Game 5 of a tied series statically go on to win the series. The Pacers played very well in the first half, but were outscored in the third quarter 30-13.

What a night!!! Dirk has great night, but the Mavericks overall shot the lights out! Lebron commented before the game that game 5 will be the biggest game of his career...well...what is game 6 then?
