Randy Moss signs with the 49ers; 1 year deal

After a workout with coach Jim Harbaugh, the San Francisco 49ers sign Randy Moss to a 1 year deal. Jury is still out if Moss can push the 49ers over the top.

Seems ironic that T.O. is playing indoor ball and Moss is now with his former team.

Could this push Peyton to sign with the 49ers?

10 Reasons Why Randy Moss Should Be A Dallas Cowboy

  1. He is Randy Moss!!! - Enough Said...
  2. Only needs 1 play - He doesn't need to know the whole playbook. A simple go route will work.
  3. Imagine  a "3-Wide Set" with Dez, Miles, and Randy - This creates all types of coverage problems for any defense.
  4. Ogletree is a good 4th option, not a 3rd - It is evident from the confusion of the Redskins game that Kevin may need to learn the playbook better.
  5. Dez will be hurt - Due to his playing style, we can expect Dez to get hurt a lot. In the his first two seasons in the NFL his track record for being healthy is not that good.
  6. Romo is the leader on offense - When Randy was in New England we did not hear about any locker room disruptions or team turmoil caused by him. This was because the Patriots had a true leader on offense with their QB Tom Brady. Romo's tough play this season on the field has giving him the full respect of the offensive players and the team.
  7. Jason Garrett is the coach, not Wade Phillips - I would hate this move if Phillips was still the coach. His "players first" philosophy would create the team turmoil.
  8. Randy Moss can still play - For what the Cowboys would need from Randy he can still do. All Randy would have to do is command coverage and go deep! He can do this for two years, not just this season.
  9. He wants a Super Bowl Ring - If your Randy Moss, one of the most celebrated receivers of all time and the only wide-out that gets debated against Jerry Rice in any barbershop, you have nothing to prove other than getting a Super Bowl ring.
  10. He wants to be a Dallas Cowboy!!!

Dallas Cowboys Lose to the Minnesota Vikings; Drop to 1-4 and last in the NFC East

The Boys lose again! This time to the Brett Farve and the Minnesota Vikings. Its the same story as last week, penalties and turnovers hurt the Cowboys. Mike Jenkins was still getting called for pass interference and the offensive line was still getting penalized. We have all been giving Romo a pass because of the numbers he has put up this season. At 1 - 4 all bets are off! This pro-bowl quarterback again loses another must win game by turning over the ball. Only fitting for a player that made his introduction into the mainstream fumbling away a playoff win. This is Romo's second game in a row throwing a pick to end a late game drive. As the team was getting 4 penalties in a row you did not see Wade Phillips in anyone's face holding someone accountable. The team gets another "touchdown celebration" penalty; this time in the first quarter. After all that they, end with a desperation "miracle" play that only works in Disney movies. This is not a good team. The coach is not a good coach. The quarterback is not a good quaterback. This defense is not a good defense despite what the stats say. There are no good 1 - 4 teams.

Randy Moss is a Minnesota Viking again!!

That's Right! Randy Moss is now officially back with the team that drafted him. The New England Patriots traded Randy Moss for draft picks that will give them full control of next years draft. They will have 2 picks in each of the 4 rounds, but who really wins here. The Pats lose a proven hall-of-famer that stretches the field like no other. This has allowed players like Wes Welker and their new addition Whitehead to get the ball underneath and be effective. Bill Belichek has confidence in the "system" in the hands of Tom Brady to keep the Pats an offensive juggernaut, but having no Randy Moss could change things. Minnesota gets a reciever! The Vikings are in a desperate need of a reciever and ended up with one of the best to every play the position. They tried to get Vincent Jackson earlier in the season, but tslks fell through with the Chargers. We all know Farve is in his final season (if he makes it) and the addition of Randy opens up the entire offense. Adrian Peterson, Shiancoe, and even Percy Harvin stand the benfit the most by having the big play threat on the field. Randy Moss does not get his contract extended, but does negotiate to become an unrestricted free agent if the Vikings don't sign him long term.
