The Atlanta Braves continued their dominance over their NL East division rival in the Washington Nationals last night with a 3-1 victory that clinched the series win for them. This series between the two teams has gotten so lopsided in recent years it is getting to a scary point for Washington. Why is Atlanta so good when the Nationals are there opponent? Find out below.

The David Price trade talks feel like they have been going on forever and with no end in sight. It is widely assumed that the Rays will trade their star ace pitcher at the trade deadline for some highly regarded prospects to put into their minor league system to grow and develop. The million dollar question of just where David Price will end up took an even more interesting turn after this new piece of news.

MLB: Chris Johnson Signs Extension to Remain in Atlanta

For a player that was named as a “throw in”  when he was part of the trade from Arizona along with slugger Justin Upton  to Atlanta  in January of 2013 , Chris Johnson  has come up smelling like roses  as he has emerged as a reliable and consistent hitter in the Braves lineup. Today he was rewarded handsomely with a new three-year, $23.5 million dollar  contract extension that keeps him an Atlanta Brave through the 2017 season, with a $10 million dollar team option for the 2018 season.

This April 8th, when the Braves open their first home stand, there will be a ceremony honoring Hank Aaron on the 40th anniversary of becoming baseball's home run king. He has done much more than we can ever give back. And at 80, he stays in shape and still is as smart and savvy as he's always been.

MLB: The Braves Give Freddie the Keys to the Brinksmanship Truck

After hearing his teammate  Jason Heyward got a new deal, the news of Freeman's deal hit the streets. The Braves extended the first baseman 8 years for the tune of around $125-135 million.

Aye Freddie, if you want to hook a brother up let me know!

The Atlanta Braves resigned OF Jason Heyward to a 2 year $13.3 million deal. This deal avoids arbitration for both parties which is a win for both, less stress.
