RF Sports Radio | DFW Sports News — Cowboys, Mavs, Rangers, Stars, Wings, SMU

Immediately after drafting Tyler Zeller with the 17th pick, the Mavs looking to retool traded him to Cleveland for the 24th, 33rd, and 34th picks. Mavs take advantage and grab three players that can really help a depleted roster; Jared Cunningham, Bernard James, and Jae Crowder. Cunningham is a good raw talent at the 2. James, a 27-year old Iraq war veteran center, drew the Newark fans admiration with "U.S.A" chants. A first for a Maverick draft pick. Crowder is big power forward at 6' 6'' 241 pounds with a high octane motor. Watching Crowder play at Marquette, he could be the energy guy off the bench to bring the enthusiam similar to Jet Terry. The also selected Darius Johnson-Odom Macs biggest impact will still be made in the free agent market. Question is: Are they trying to bring in players to match with Deron Williams or are they trying to package player to get Sworn here? Stay tuned... More on the players: Cunningham (6-4, 194) from Oregon State. Named First...

(Thanks to Indiegogo, RF Sports Radio will continue to keep delivering high quality content to the masses) Our Story: September 2010, my wife dared me to quit listening to sports talk radio in the car and in her words, "do it yourself". After researching the internet for opportunites to get more sports opinions heard I realized that I can do it myself. I needed an angle...something the other talk shows did not have. That ingredient was my Dad, Royce Fisher. He and I talked sports all time anyway and this would add a different generations perspective that would make good entertainment. Plus, my Dad is entertainment himself. We had our first broadcast opening day of that NFL season and have not looked back since. In our short three years, we have gained a following of thousands of monthly visitors on  www.RFSportsRadio.com  and 800 downloads/ listeners of our podcast weekly, but advertisers are not knocking on our door. Our following came by the ability to cover the nat...

Everyone has slotted "King" James as the heir to the basketball throne vacated by Michael Jordan, but that has not come to fruition. Now 8 years later, you could argue that Lebron's time has been under The Black Mamba's reign, Kobe Bryant. Enter the young Kevin Durant. Number1 draft pick of the Seattle Supersonics after several analysts said he was not NBA ready after leading the NCAA in scoring his only year and not being able to bench press 125lbs at the combine. A rookie of the year award and 3 scoring titles later, Durant gets his first trip to the NBA Finals. In true "King" fashion, he has gone through the top teams and players of his conference to get there. The Kevin Durant era starts now... Rodney Fisher, RF Sports Radio
