With Johnny Football declaring for the draft, many questions raise about his game. In college he was the first Freshman to win the Heisman, and was one of the most exciting and talented players to watch. But will he be as good at the next level?

The ACC runner-up Duke Blue Devils (10-3) will try to take the spotlight away from Texas A&M (8-4) and their star quarterback Johnny Manziel. Ironically, both teams are ranked 21st in the USA Today Coaches Poll. They will have big stage of the Georgia Dome to break the tie.

Envy is the worst of the deadliest sins, as it doesn't even feel good temporarily. I don't criticize Johnny Manziel because of resentment, I do so to juxtapose Johnny's recent transgressions with prior athletes.

Three weeks after receiving the Heisman, Johnny Manziel & sister Mari received Rolex watches for Christmas. Mari Manziel Tweeted: Matching Watches @jmanziel2 #Twinsies with an Instagram Photo attached.

In reality they weren't matching, Johnny got gold & Mari diamonds. The younger Manziel was flabbergasted when twitter followers berated her about the opulent display, replying via Twitter:

When a throng of 1,200 media types await your arrival and watch your every movement, no matter how big or small, you are definitely not the regular “Joe Some.” Welcome to the life of Texas A&M quarterback and 2012 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel.

After recently tweeting (and then deleting the tweet) that he was tired of the college scene, it is almost certain that we will hear Manziel's name in May. Contrary to common belief, I strongly recommend that he doesn't declare for the 2014 draft.

He won the Heisman as a Freshman, so he's ready for the NFL, right? Think again. Honestly, he still has a long road ahead of him before he is ready for the NFL. His athleticism alone will not enable him to succeed in the NFL.

Meeting Johnny Heisman

Dallas--Last night I had the chance to meet Texas A&M quarterback and Heisman trophy winner Johnny Manziel at the Dallas Mavericks vs Miami Heat game. First impression was the fact that this kid is small! To watch what he has accomplished this season as the Aggies made their debut in the big bad SEC and know be eye to eye with the young man makes me realize why he is so special.

He sat court-side as the Heat burned the Mavericks all game, but there was no big crowd around him for autographs or pictures. Just a few media people telling each other, "isn't that Johnny Football?"

With the success of smaller quarterbacks in the NFL lately, like RGIII and Russell Wilson, Manziel as a legitimate chance of throwing the ball on Sunday. It is going to take someone to overlook his stature and focused instead on his will.
