Blackhawks avoid elimination with thrilling Double OT win over the Kings

Michal Handzus scored 2:04 into the second overtime allowing the defending Stanley Cup Champion Blackhawks to play another game. A steal in the neutral zone and nifty pass by Brandon Saad to Handzus who skated in and backhanded puck top shelf past Jonathan Quick. Handzus 1st career OT playoff winner. The Brandon Saad/Patrick Kane/Andrew line totaled 1 goal, 8 assists and +10 rating.

NBA Playoffs: Spurs Reach 5th NBA Finals Over Grizzlies

The San Antonio Spurs win the Western Conference Finals series 4-0 over the Memphis Grizzlies. Tim Duncan has turned back the hands of time, but it was Tony Parker that lifted the team with a 37 point performance. The Spurs won 93-86 and can rest until June 6th to start The Finals.

The New York Knicks live to fight another day as they extend their series after winning at home over the Indiana Pacers.

The ageless San Antonio Spurs end their series with the Golden State Warriors and advance to the Western Conference Finals, where the Memphis Grizzlies are waiting.
