With the draft approaching the Rams are bringing in players for their pre-draft visit so they can get a better feel for them to see if they will be fits for the team. This year the Rams pick at number 10 in the upcoming draft.
Sitting at number ten and with multiple needs the Rams can basically have their choice at any top player in the draft. Cooper can certainly be a possibility for the Rams. In numerous mock drafts analysts have Cooper going before the Rams pick at 10, and that is very possible, but there are a couple mocks there have the Rams snagging the talented receiver at 10 if he is available.
Amari Cooper and Kevin White are widely regarded as the best receivers in the draft this year it all comes down to preference in which who gets picked first. White is more explosive and physical but Cooper is more sound technique wise, and his hands are better.
Cooper can help the Rams team immediately if he is drafted he can provide an instant weapon for new quarterback Nick Foles. Also, the Rams have recently re-signed receiver Kenny Britt and with 2012 pick Brian Quick possibly hitting free agency next Cooper could be the pick for the Rams if he is there.
Peat and Brown look to be options for the Rams if they trade out of their spot at 10. The Rams are looking for help on the interior part of their offensive line and with free agent right tackle Joe Barksdale unsure if he will resign the Rams will have to fill that gap.
