In the fourth quarter of Friday night's USA Men's inter-squad scrimmage, Paul George suffered a terrible injury. James Harden was pushing the ball in transition, and Paul George was looking to stop the play he went to contest the layup and landed wrong resulting in his leg snapping. Immediately all players apart of the game felt pain for George as he laid helplessly.

After a few minutes of the training staff attending to George, the players from both teams combined for a team prayer for George. A few minutes later Coach Krzyzewski announced to the fans that the game will not be finished.
Not only will this be a hit to team USA but it will be an even bigger hit to Indiana Pacers. Paul George was coming off his best season for Pacers he averaged 21.7 points and 6.8 rebounds he also made All-NBA third team and was All-NBA first team defender last season. Larry bird, who is in charge of Pacers basketball operation, issued a statement Friday night saying.
"We are aware of the injury sustained by Paul George in Friday night's Team USA game in Las Vegas and we are obviously greatly concerned. At this time, our thoughts and prayers will be with Paul. We are still gathering details and will have an updated statement Saturday."
This leaves the Pacers without their superstar player when the new season arrives. It will require allot of adjustments and change to take place from the organization, players and coaches to transition to playing without Paul George leading them but that is for another time. The main issue right now is making sure Paul George gets on the right rehab program that is best for him.
Coach Krzyzewski and Jerry Colangelo made it very clear after the game that any roster moves or basketball operations will be on hold the next few days. The main focus is to make sure that Paul George will be okay.
As a fan, it is bad to see a player of George's caliber go down with such a gruesome injury. His teammates and players around the league have all took to twitter to wish George a speedy recovery. Hopefully George will be able to make a strong comeback from this injury.
