Senior Bowl: The Most Impressive Quarterback

Many people and scouts have been underwhelmed by the quarterbacks practicing at the Senior Bowl. We’ve saw torn ACL’s to flat out horrid. In my eyes and many others, one young man has stuck out. Fresno State’s Derek Carr.

Carr has been a very consistent quarterback, who has only improved in his three years as a starter. He is the brother of former number one overall pick, David Carr. Derek is the eighth pick in my latest Mock Draft, going to Minnesota.

Carr has impressed in Senior Bowl Practices. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo from Eastern Illinois also looks good, but I’m not sure if he can be the real deal at the next level. Considering that, Carr looks to be the best QB in Mobile.

If Derek can play as good in the real game as he is in practice, his Draft stock will continue to raise. Can Derek be the number one pick to Houston just like his brother? It could be a stretch, but anything is possible in the NFL.
