Jay Cutler gets 7 year $126 million deal to stay with Chicago Bears. Photo credit NFL |
The regular season ended on Sunday and the main question coming out of Bears-land was, “Will the Bears resign Cutler or let him walk?” On Thursday everyone go their answer to the hottest question in Chicago besides, “When will Derrick Rose return?”
The Bears not wasting time to resign their signal caller is smart because it will cause this off season not to have as much turmoil as the 2013 off season. The Bears fired its head coach and didn’t resign a legend last year.
Cutler received a 7 year $126 million deal with $54 million guaranteed. Can you say pay day?
Maybe the Bears overspent, but I’m not here to criticism. This move shows that the Bears believe in Cutler as the franchise quarterback. We(The media ) can kill all of the McCown my takeover talk with this deal, but hopefully they will keep their capable backup just in case Jay gets nicked up next year.
Bears fans let us know how you feel.
