Ohio State Buckeyes

The Buckeyes had plans to be playing in the championship game this season. In Urban Meyer’s two years with the program, his only loss ever in the Big Ten championship this year to Michigan State cost him the chance. They have a ton of weapons on offense including Braxton Miller and Carlos Hyde, who combined for over 1,000 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns.

Clemson Tigers

The Tigers have their offensive duo in quarterback Tajh Boyd and Sammy Watkins. The two have combined for over 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns in their last season together. Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney has built a very good program, including a ACC title in 2011. They will be motivated to close out the season with a bowl win.

Keys to Victory

Both teams have their own motivations to win this game. Ohio State will be looking to avenge their loss to Michigan State, while Clemson will want to end Boyd’s career with bowl victory over arguably one of the top teams in college football.

Prediction: Ohio State 31 Clemson 27
