NFL: Vince Young To The Texans?

Vince Young says he is ready when the
Texans call.
by Rodney Fisher

Things turned from bad to worse for the Houston Texans. They lost a fourth straight game to the St. Louis Rams 38-13, and it wasn't even that close. The Rams led 38-6 after three quarters. Fans in Reliant Stadium cheered when Matt Schaub left injured and backup T.J. Yates entered the game. He later threw the one play the Texans have mastered this season. The pick-six.

Other fans took to social media to voice their opinions.
Twitter started to trend #VinceYoung. Business owners, rappers, even local media began to advise the hometown team to bring in Young to fix the quarterback problems. Young himself also made his own request by tweeting:

Let them know VY is in shape and ready to go! I always loved my birth place and everyone who lives in it IM READY
He also retweeted some of the many messages regarding him returning to his birthplace to play for the second NFL franchise to call Houston home.
He has been down this road before it seems. A chance with Philadelphia Eagles, or the "dream team" as he put it, turned into more of a nightmare. He used Twitter to announce to all that his hopes this season to play in the NFL with the Green Bay Packers fell short.
Thanks to the for the opportunity great organization great team wonderful fans good luck this season.
Vince Young playing for  the Houston Texans could be a necessary consideration for the franchise. Coach Gary Kubiak described Schaub's leg injury as  "a little bit of everything" during his postgame press conference. A press time, a little bit of everything still meant a lot. The odds to see Young in a Texans uniform as the starting quarterback don't look good, but it may take a gamble to change their luck.
