Derrick Favors was the key piece in the Deron Williams deal for the Jazz a few years back. Favors who hasn’t played lights out has shown potential. So, the Utah Jazz opened up the check book for 4 years at 49 million dollars with the possibility to earn a little over 50 million.

Man it pays to be a big man in the NBA, I won’t even begin to rattle off the list of paid “Bigs” in the league currently.
While playing 23.2 mpg , he averaged 9.4 ppg, 7.1 rpg and 1.7 bpg. Favors is heading into his 4th year in the NBA maybe this will be his breakout year.
