NBA: The Clippers finally land Doc Rivers

After a few weeks of bluffing the Clippers and Celtics finally pulled the trigger on sending Head Coach Doc Rivers to LA.


Per ESPN, the Clips will send the C's their 1st round pick of the 2015 draft and exchange for letting Doc out of his 3 years and 21 million contract remaining. Rivers will sign a 3 year deal for a total of 21 million dollars with the Clippers, so we know Doc's pockets will still be laced.

The Celtics didn't get the 2 1st round picks they set out for from the Clips but they held out long enough to get at least 1 1st round pick and to be freed of the 21 million still owed to Rivers, salute Ainge (GM) for getting an asset and easing the budget.

The Clippers had to make this move to assure they resign Chris Paul July 1st, I know CP3 is very happy with this move by the Clips. I don't think the dealing is done in LA so keep your eye on them.
