Sidney Crosby is back everyone. He is now the hottest player on the planet for the NHL and the favorite to win the Hart Trophy. He showed that last night by having a hat trick in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Crosby now has 6 goals in these playoffs.
Since returning from his broken jaw injury, Crosby has been on fire.  His first game back he had 2 goals against the New York Islanders in just a matter of minutes. He did the same last night against the Senators. His teammates always know when he’s open. In a game against the Islanders, a teammate fed him a puck and Crosby split 2 defenders and he still scored. Many people compared that goal to Mario Lemieux’s statue goal right outside of the Consol Energy Center.

Crosby has excellent speed and passing as well. He always finds the open man even if they are covered a bit. His speed makes him fly into the offensive zone and create chances every time he is there. On the Power Play, he is just deadly. He gets his most points when the Penguins are on the Power Play whether it is assists or goals.
In conclusion, Crosby is the best player in the world. He has shown it the last few games in these playoffs. He has this team and this city believing right now. He has them believing that they can win a 4th Stanley Cup and the first one since 2009.
