NFL: The Future Impact of the 2013 QB Class: Part 3

We will conclude the series in the realm of Mr. Irrelevant; the 7th round. There is no way any of these next 4 QBs win the starting job in their rookie season, but who's to say they won't have a bright future? Is Rivers on his way out? Have the Broncos found Manning's replacement? Do the 49ers plan on running the same offense even with a back-up QB? Should Matty Ice be feeling pressured to win? Let's find out.

San Diego Chargers: Brad Sorensen, 221st overall pick
Phillip Rivers will not be losing his starting job to Sorensen, but what if he goes down? Who will keep the struggling team afloat?  Sorensen will compete with Mike Hermann for the back-up role in San Diego. Although, in the unfortunate event that Rivers gets injured, neither would actually be able to lead the team nearly as much as Rivers. Both are quite inexperienced.

Denver Broncos: Zac Dysert, 234th overall pick
As controversial as it may sound, Dysert was personally my No.1 pre-draft QB. That being said, he will still end up being the 3rd string QB behind Manning and Osweiler. While I thought highly of Dysert, Osweiler has as much, if not more, arm talent and also has better physical tools. Denver is primed to succeed even when Manning throws in the towel.

San Francisco 49ers: BJ Daniels, 237th overall pick
The 49ers currently have three QBs on the roster that will fight for the back up role behind Kaepernick. Two of them, BJ Daniels and MarQueis Gray, have athleticism and running ability. The other QB, Colt McCoy, has a tad of athleticism as well. All 3 will be new to the team this year. So with all this athleticism, all signs point to 49ers running the zone-read with any and all of their QBs. Although, in my opinion, the zone-read won't be as effective as it was last season.

Atlanta Falcons: Sean Renfree, 249th overall pick
Sean Renfree will compete with Dominique Davis and Seth Doege to be Matt Ryan's clipboard holder. Renfree would be a solid temporary replacement if Ryan were to go down, but he is not starter-caliber, especially with Matt Ryan there. Renfree would be a back up for any team, but he would be a reliable one. He'd certainly be able to keep the team from crashing and burning, but he wouldn't be able to lead it.
