Barr has a quick twitch and explodes from the line off scrimmage. Offensive Lineman struggle to hold him at bay due to his ability to utilize his hands well and shed blocks. Most Offensive Lineman also have a problem with him around the edge. Not only does Barr burst off the line of scrimmage, he is also rather fast. Barr dominates when he bends the edge due to his graceful balance and quickness.
Although he is primarily an OLB, a position that tends to only dominate the edge, Barr can effectively go inside of the Offensive Tackle and beat him with raw strength and tenacity. To add even further to his stellar set of traits, Barr is not limited to pass rushing. Barr, while not phenomenal, is solid in coverage and run support. He uses his hands, just like he does during a pass rush, to disengage from blocks and either make the tackle or force the ball carrier elsewhere.

While we are all aware of Clowney's once-in-a-generation talent, Barr is flying a bit under the radar of the common fan. Anthony Barr is a naturally talented superstar that has top-tier NFL pass rusher potential. His skill set is one that should not be over-looked.
