WNBA: Griner Has Two Dunks In First Game

In a match up headlined by the number 1 and  2 picks of this years WNBA Draft it was Elena Delle Donne outplaying Brittney Griner in there first game of the season.


The Chicago Sky beat the Phoenix Mercury 102-80. Delle Donne had a great all around game showing off an array of moves on her way to a 22 point, 8 rebound and 4 block game.

Griner finished with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 4 blocks and 2 dunks. Even though her Mercury got crushed because of her 4th quarter dunking exhibition a lot of eyes will be tuned into the Mercury games. All in all Griner is great of the women's game.
