Alex Smith does not have to watch Colin Kaepernick led his offense to a Super Bowl from the sideline again. Today he has been traded to the Kansas City Chiefs for a second round pick and conditional pick in the upcoming draft. The Chiefs have the number 1 pick is the draft, which most analysts assumed they would pick a QB. Others assumed that this would be their best move since the QB class was not highly touted this year.
New head coach Andy Reid started his last job with the Philadelphia Eagles bringing in franchise QB Donovan McNabb. Now he will begin this new chapter with Alex Smith.
