Lance Armstrong steps down from Live Strong; Nike pulls endorsement deal.

When to news first broke that Armstrong would be stripped of his Tour de France wins and his records wiped clean from the books, most people felt like it would not hurt
his fundraising efforts to fight cancer. As more information started to come out against Armstrong including the testimony of his cycling teammates, the  skepticism started to work against his fundraising. Today, Lance has decided to step down from his post with LiveStrong in order to keep the donations coming in. A clear sign that his doping allegations have hurt the foundation when most thought it would rally support.

Nike, Armstrong's biggest endorsement has decided they will part ways with the cycling icon. The have however stated they will continue to contribute to LiveStrong.

Lance Armstrong has been the Wikipedia photo for "fight" and "perseverance". Lately it seems that he doesn't want to fight anymore.
