2015-16 Dalllas Mavericks Schedule Released

DALLAS – The Dallas Mavericks announced their 2015-16 schedule today, tipping off their 36th season on a three-game road trip starting with Phoenix on Wednesday, Oct. 28 and followed by the L.A. Clippers (Oct. 29) and the L.A. Lakers (Nov. 1).

The Mavericks begin their 15th season at the American Airlines Center on Tuesday, Nov. 3 against the Toronto Raptors at 7:30 pm

The Mavericks national TV schedule includes one game on TNT, six on ESPN and nine on NBATV.

TNT features Dallas early in the season as the Mavericks travel to face the L.A. Clippers on Oct. 29.  The six games ESPN carries include vs. L.A. Clippers (Nov. 11), vs. Atlanta (Dec. 9), at Golden State (Jan. 27), vs. San Antonio (Feb. 5), at Portland (Mar. 23) and vs. Houston (Apr. 6).

Dallas also has nine televised games on NBATV.  They are vs. Denver (Nov. 28), at Portland (Dec. 1), at New York (Dec. 7), vs. Phoenix (Dec. 14), at Toronto (Dec. 22), at Los Angeles Lakers (Jan. 26), vs. Minnesota (Feb. 28), vs. Memphis (Apr. 8) and at L.A. Clippers (Apr. 10).

The remaining portion of the Mavericks’ local television schedule for games on Fox Sports Southwest will be released at a later date.  All games can be heard on ESPN 103.3 FM and on KZMP 1540 AM ESPN Deportes.

January could be the Mavericks’ most challenging month as they play a season-high 18 games, including five back-to-backs and one beginning on Jan. 31 and ending Feb. 1.  That month features 10 road games and eight home games.  Some of those games include at Miami (Jan. 1), at New Orleans (Jan. 6), vs. Cleveland (Jan. 12), at Chicago (Jan. 15), at San Antonio (Jan. 17), vs. Oklahoma City (Jan. 22) and at Houston (Jan. 24). November is the team’s second busiest month as they play 16 games.

The longest homestand of the season is six games beginning on Sunday, Feb. 21 and concluding Thurs. March 3.  Some notable games during that stretch include Oklahoma City (Feb. 24), Denver (Feb. 26) and Sacramento (Mar. 3).

The Mavericks have 17 back-to-backs this season, 14 of which come prior to the All-Star Break.  In total, eight back-to-backs are on the road, five begin at home and conclude on the road and four are road-to-home.

The reigning World Champion Golden State Warriors make two appearances at American Airlines Center this season on Dec. 30 and Mar. 18.
