"Looks Like Someone has a case of The Mondays"
Football season is finally here and Week 1 is in the books. There is one thing I forget each year during Off-Season…. Dallas Cowboy Mondays! Here is how this scenario plays out in Dallas all season long.
Cowboys Win
Imagine the whole city be-bopping around like a Disney cartoon in the 40's. People are saying good morning to each other, buying donuts for the office.Everyone is cordial at the stop signs, all the children run to their schools like its the last day. The radio announcers all seem to be giddy as if Christmas time is near. Marriages increase at the courthouse and no speeding tickets are issued on the morning commute. It's the most wonderful time of the year!! You get the picture….
Cowboys Loose
There is a dark haze that emits from AT&T stadium and covers the entire city. Bars close early, grocery employees force patrons to bag their own groceries. Cursing matches erupt in the middle of school zones. Husbands & wives sleep in separate beds. No one says hello, only dirty scowls glared at one another. Daring the other to mention the outcome of the game. Facebook lights up as the Cowboy haters take to their "Meme-ing" to add to boiling rage that makes Cowboy fans sick to their stomachs. There is no joy in D-Town, the mighty Cowboys have lost..
