SWAC 2015 Football Media Day

The event was held at the Birmingham Marriott and featured several workings including the All-SWAC Preseason Team announcement with a live video and radio broadcast stream. It was carried live by the SWAC Digital Network which featured each of the head coaches from all 10 schools within the SWAC along with several guest including ESPN analyst Jay Howard.  Over 150 media members attended this year’s gathering which featured a radio row with guest from Boxtorow, Open Mic Broadcasting, and WPRL of Alcorn State. The SWAC released a pair of public service initiatives to highlight the conference member institutions, promote the upcoming 2015 Toyota SWAC Football Championship in Houston, Texas on December 5.  The league also gave the audience a preview of the all new Celebration Bowl which is set for December 19 in Atlanta, Ga.  The matchup will feature the winner of the SWAC’sfootball championship game and the regular season victor from the MEAC. 2015 SWAC General PSA
