The DeSoto Eagles start off their new season with an impressive offensive display by their new quarterback Tristen Wallace.
DeSoto's 633-yards of total offense was too much for Arlington Martin to keep up with. Junior quarterback Tristen Wallace had an Player of the Week worthy debut going 10-17, 287-yards, and four touchdowns through the air. He also added 231-yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
Kevin Thomas led all receivers with 143-yards and three touchdowns.
Arlington Martin, a playoff team last year, had big plays that kept them in the game early, but their defense could not slow the Eagles offense down.
