After they lost out on the Howard bidding war, this was a move that had to be made good or bad. Bogut when healthy is a legit contributor, its just a BIG when healthy.
The Golden State Warriors laced Andrew Bogut’s pockets with a 3 year 36 million dollar deal with the potential to reach over 42 million if healthy. Man it pays to be over 6’8”.
Last season Bogut played 32 games during the regular season avering 5.8 ppg, 7.7 rpg and 1.7 bpg but during the postseason he was able to be more reliable averaging per 12 games 7.2 ppg, 10.9 rpg and 1.5 bpg while playing an average of 27.3 mpg.
During his 8 year career Bogut is almost a consistent double double guy averaging 12.2 ppg, 9.2 rpg and 1.6 bpg. These are very solid numbers especially in the state of the current world of big men.
