Champ Bailey, despite being cut by the Saints last month, is still on a  mission to continue his career for at least this upcoming season. He recently had a workout with the Detroit Lions, which by all accounts went well.

Our number rated NBA unrestricted free agent left without a team is now reportedly joining the Denver Nuggets. Based on recent reports, Nate Robinson will be joining the Mile High team for the next two years for $4.1 million.

Deron Williams is about to have the biggest week of his career. The Mavericks, who have put all the eggs in one basket, get the first try to sign D-Will.

Representing the Mavs will be Rick Carlisle, Donnie Nelson, and Michael Finley. Dirk and Mark Cuban are both out-of-town. This process started over a week ago with Jason Kidd golfing with Deron in the Hamptons.

The Nets best chance may be to make the trade for Dwight Howard before Deron arrives on Tuesday.
