Despite Yankees closer David Robertson blowing a 9th inning save, Brian McCann walloped a 3 run shot just inside of the right field pole off Jake Petricka (0-3) giving New York a 7-4 win and series sweep over the Chicago White Sox.

Brian McCann’s tie-breaking solo blast into right center field bullpen in the 7th inning gave the Yankees the 2-1 lead over the Detroit Tigers which would stand up for New York.
