Dez Bryant Played With Broken Foot; Tweets Fans

Sources say Dez Bryant played second half with broken foot. Photo credit Brandon Wade/AP
Dez Bryant successfully had surgery on his foot today and is expected to miss four to six weeks. Bryant took to Twitter to send a message to his fans.

Most are reporting that Bryant broke his foot in the fourth quarter on a crossing route, but our sources tell us the injury happened earlier in the game and he forced his way back on the field. The training and coaching staff finally convinced him to go to the locker room in the fourth quarter.

Bryant left the field early in the game for a reported dehydration, but our sources tell us that was the first indication of the injury.

A broken foot did not stop Dez from congratulating his teammates as they entered the locker room

The Cowboys do not plan to add another WR to fill-in for Bryant. There have been rumors involving the likes of Reggie Wayne or even retired Randy Moss. For now, it will be a combination of Devin Street and Lucky Whitehead getting snaps.

Randy Gregory and Ron Leary will miss some games due to injury also.

NFL Training Camp: Dallas Cowboys Offensive Preview

by Chad Jones
Dallas Cowboys Dez Bryant and Tony Romo
A year from today, Gavin Escobar will be appearing on national television shows to preview Cowboys Camp, and will be considered a matchup nightmare across the NFL. His value won't be exclusively in production, but in his ability to transform the Cowboys offense into a dynamic attack. Jason Garrett is an adept schemer that has learned from some of the brightest minds in football. While he won't be responsible for play calling, he will be integral to preparing the offense for each opponent.

Top 15 NFL Players Under 25 Years Old

1. JJ Watt, Houston Texans

Nobody should be this big and powerful, yet still quick and explosive. JJ Watt can beat any Offensive Lineman in the league and even throws his hands up and swats an uncountable amount of passes. There's no scheming around JJ Watt. He will dominate no matter what.

2. Von Miller, Denver Broncos

Speed is the name of the game for this pass rushing technician. Miller has a wide assortment of moves that can make any opposing Lineman look like fools. While he is incredibly quick and explosive, he won't get rag-dolled around. He sports enough strength to stay up and fight to reach the QB.

Cowboys Suck! Tony Romo is Out! Dez Bryant is going to Hawaii! Oh yeah.....Cowboys Suck!

Ok...Now if you guys have ever heard the show then you know I'm a Cowboy fan! But boy do they suck right now! The 1-5 Boys didn't penalize themselves to a loss this time, the just got whooped. The Giants again seemed to just be more physical then the team that needed the win. The Boys came out blazing with a TD to Witten, but failure to capitalize on another turnover should have warned me then. Miles Austin was missing sure catches, the running backs could not run, and once again our secondary looked like the should be playing Saturday morning at your local field not Monday night. Eli Manning, the only Super Bowl winning QB in the NFC East, looked like his older brother directing the pass protection and calling audibles. Did I mentioned he threw 4 TDs! Bradie James and Keith Brooking were getting pancaked by the Giants offensive line all game.

To add insult to injury, Tony Romo breaks a collarbone in the second quarter and gives the offense to 14 year veteran John Kitna. Did I mention that he went 3 and out 14 straight times! He is done!

Dez Bryant was the only player on the team that seemed to play with heart. He scored 3 TDs, 2 receiving and 1 on a punt return. Maybe the players need to follow a ROOKIE as a leader. He seems to be the only player trying to win after Romo went down.

Dez...buddy pack your bags for Hawaii. Wade...pack your bags too!!!!
