Turkey Day Revenge for Dez Bryant

Dez Bryant three touchdown performance to beat the Eagles.

The Dallas Cowboys rolled in to Philadelphia looking to take control of the NFC East with a win over the Eagles.  From the Kick off things appeared to be going the Cowboys way.

The intial Kick Off from Dan Bailey took a Cowboy bounce on the 20 yard line and the Cowboys Special Teams recovered within the 30 yard line. After a few "Warm Up" plays Demarco Murray carried the Rock into the Endzone for the Cowboys first touchdown.  After a turnover on downs the Cowboys marched down the field and capped off their 2nd drive of the night with an amazing one-hand catch by Dez Bryant followed by the "X".  The Cowboys capped off their 3rd drive of the 1st half with another TD catch by Dez Bryant, courtesy of Tony Romo and that Cowboys Offensive line.

In the 2nd quarter the Eagles & Chip Kelly got things rolling and moved the ball down the field with lighting speed and efficency with Chris Polk grabbing the first Eagle points with a 5 yard run to Pay Dirt.  The Eagles were able to land a Field Goal with 1:46 left on the clocks and the ball heading back to Tony Romo & The Boys.  Down the field the Cowboys marched; Wittin, Beasley, Williams.  All that offense and they stall out on the 40 yard line and have to Punt. 21-10 at the Half

3rd quarter seemed to be going the Eagles way after a poor kick return by the Cowboys.  The Eagles defense loaded up on the Blitz and forced a fumble by Tony Romo in the Eagles Red zone.  Easy pickings for McCoy and a Touchdown by Sproles on a 6 yard scamper to the right side. 21-24 Eagles. The next drive for the Cowbys was filled with major pressure from the Eagles. Dez Bryant makes 2 huge catches on 2nd down, one setting up a 3 yard TD run by Murray. 28 to 24 Cowboys.

The Cowboys shocked the world with a bobbled interception with :00 left on the clock by Wilcox. Cowboys start the 4th on the Eagles 43 yardline. The 3rd quarter turned out just as everyone would want a December division match-up in the NFC East!  The 4th quarter started with Bradley Fletcher to get burned for his 3rd Touchdown by Dez Bryant to quiet a sold out Philly crowd. A sideline interference call added 15 yards after a 44 yard gain by the Eagles wideout Huff. 2nd down continued to belong Dez Bryant with a drive saving catch for the 3rd time, but after a holding penalty the drive stalls out with a 49 yard Field Goal by Dan Bailey.  Cowboys extend the lead 38 to 27 with 4:36 left. The Eagles took over and were stopped on 3rd down by Defensive linemen Mincey, but the Cowboys could not add to their 11 point lead and gave the ball back to Philly. Bruce Carter cemented the Cowboys plae atop the NFC with a pick on the 1st play of the Eagles final drive.

The Cowboys shake some of the December skeletons off with this great win at Philly.  The defense showed up and the offense put up points.  The Dallas Cowboys seem to be playing at Playoff pace with their Superstar Dez Bryant.  Jason Garret can hold his Red Head high another week before the Colts next week. The NFC Playoff picture is still shakey with all Wildcard teams still with 9 losses.  Time to win out Your division or pray for some losses from some 10 or 11 win teams.
