RBs get paid; Forte gets $32 million; Rice gets $40 million

The Chicago Bears and Matt Forte agree to 4 year deal that totals $32 million dollars. Ray Rice gets a 5 year deal from the Baltimore Ravens that totals $40 million.

The Rice deal will pay him $17 million the first year and $25 million over the first 2 years.

Both RBs expressed their displeasure with the franchise tags placed on them by their respective teams. They both planned not to show up any team activities until the deals were done. Now, we know who is going to picking up the tab for a few dinners.

Expect more deals to come including the Ravens Ed Reed and QB Joe Flacco, Maurice Jones-Drew, Derrelle Revis, and more.
