Derek Jeter delivered another signature moment in his 20-year illustrious career in New York Yankee pinstripes with a walk-off single in the 9th inning last night giving the Yankees a 6-5 victory over the Baltimore Orioles which marked Jeter’s last home game at Yankee Stadium.

Anthony Ranaudo, a Freehold, New Jersey native called up from Triple A Pawtucket got the ball on Friday night and ended up tossing six innings limiting the Yankees to two runs on four hits for his first major league victory over the Yankees.

The Texas Rangers rallied for four runs in the 5th inning wiping out a 2-0 deficit to defeat the New York Yankees 4-2 on Monday night at Global Life Park in Arlington, Texas.

As Derek Jeter continues his final season as a player for the New York Yankees, it is easy to contemplate what his next career move will be once the curtain falls on this season for him. One of those career choices people have speculated is that he could be a manager of a major league team one day. The New York Yankees resigned their captain and living legend Derek Jeter to a 1 year deal worth 12 million dollars. Jeter had a player option for 9.5 million that he could've took advantage of but the Yankees took care of their living legend.
