The 49ers and Chiefs can’t stop dealing with each other can they? Both teams were back at it after coming together during the off season to make a swap.

Alex Smith for two 2nd round picks was the deal months ago that brought the two teams together and Monday they came together to trade disappointing 1st round receivers, The 49ers send 2012 1st round pick A.J. Jenkins to the Chiefs for their 2011 1st round pick Jonathan Baldwin.
Maybe a change of scenery will help both players because they both haven’t looked like 1st round picks during their short careers. A.J. has yet to have a professional catch and Jon has fared a little bit better but still disappointing.
This trade proves that Baalke reached like Mr. Fantastic for Jenkins and he came to terms with it pretty fast. This trade also proves that both teams were likely going to cut the receivers if this deal didn’t go through.
I was just saying that Jenkins was the next man up for the 49ers but after a lack luster preseason he was the next man out. Hopefully Andy Reid and Alex Smith can turn around the receiver’s career. Good luck A.J.
Jon is a big body who if he can get everything together should have a chance to be a force at least in the red zone for the 49ers. Maybe Harbaugh can fix, Baldwin because the talent is there.
Only time will tell if any of these players can right their wrongs. One thing is for sure the 49ers and Chiefs like to make deals with each other.
