Let the movement begin! In Week 2's addition of the NBA Power Rankings, some teams rise while others fall out of the Top Ten.

1. Memphis Grizzlies (6-1, #2 last week)

The "Grit and Grind" boys from the M-Town continue to dominate and both ends of the floor. They may not be on TV every week, but Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph are doing damage.

2. Golden State Warriors (5-1. #5 last week)

The Warriors are the consensus #1 team if you look at all the Power Ranking polls. Their turnovers keep them out of my #1 spot.

3. Houston Rockets (6-1, #7 last week)

The Rockets beat a good Miami Heat team on the road and half of the San Antonio Spurs at home before losing their first game to the Warriors. I am starting to believe more in this team.

4. Toronto Raptors (6-1, #9 last week)

Even though the Eastern Conference may be lesser competition than the West, being the #1 team counts for something. They are on a four game win streak.

5. Miami Heat (5-2, #4 last week)

The Heat had an impressive win over the Dallas Mavericks on the second night of a back-to-back game. They officially pass the eye test.

6. San Antonio Spurs (3-3, #3 last week)

I know they have a .500 record, but the Spurs have decided to rest their guys early this season. They can turn it on when they need to. Kawhi Leonard is starting to heat up. They beat the Clippers on the road last night to get even.

7. Dallas Mavericks (4-3, #1 last week)

Maybe I let my heart overrule my head...This past week I watched the Mavs get beat in the third quarter in every game, but one. Their losses to Portland and Miami were not close.

8. Chicago Bulls (6-2, #6 last week)

Derrick Rose is back and put up 24 points to get the win in Detroit last night.

9. Sacramento Kings (5-2, no rank last week)

They had a bad loss to the injury plagued OKC Thunder, but have been good in their other games. They have a tough week ahead with road games against Dallas and Memphis, then return home to face the Spurs.

10. Washington Wizards (5-2, #10 last week)

The Wizards hold their spot from last week. Reports out of D.C. say that Bradley Beal will be shooting the ball soon in order to return this month.

Just Missed It...

Cleveland Cavaliers (3-3)
Brooklyn Nets (4-2)
New Orleans Pelicans (3-3)
Portland Trailblazers (4-3)
Los Angeles Clippers (4-3)
