HoopsHabit.com - San Antonio Spurs: Does Another Championship Make Manu Ginobili A Hall Of Fame Lock?

Since joining the NBA and San Antonio Spurs July 18, 2002, basketball fans in the USA know Manu Ginobili as a three-time NBA champion (2003, 2005, 2007) and catalyst to the Gregg Popovich system. The truth is he was a three-time MVP in both the Euroleague and Italian League in only three seasons prior to exiting any plane on American soil to play basketball. The Race for 8th in the Western Conference

The race for the 8th and last playoff spot in the Western Conference will go down to wire for three teams: Lakers, Jazz, and Mavericks

To say that things are close in the West would be a mild understatement. The three teams in the hunt for the final playoff spot are only 2 games apart with roughly 9 games left to play. Let's take a look at all three teams chances to make it.

The Day I Stopped Being a Cowboy Fan

Let me be honest. I will more than likely be back on the Cowboys bandwagon by the time the season starts, but today the Romo extension has me disgusted.

See, Even Mark Cuban doesn't like College Basketball

Mark Cuban is not a college basketball fan for good reason.

"I went to Indiana so I'm a Hoosiers fan", answered Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, when I asked him if he was a college basketball fan. "But I'm not really a college basketball fan during the tournament."

Doc Rivers before Mavs game "We still have games to play"

We caught up Boston Celtics head coach Doc Rivers as he talked about March Madness, prepping his team for the playoffs, the rotation, and Jason Terry's return to Dallas.

NBA Friday Night Preview

Courtesy of NBA.com
Big night in the "Association" with teams looking to continue streaks and stars returning. Here is a quick rundown:

New York Knicks at Toronto Raptors
The Knicks right now are infected with injuries. Amare Stoudemire, Tyson Chandler, Kurt Thomas, and Rasheed Wallace are all out. These teams face each other again on Saturday in Madison Square Garden so it will be interesting to see if Knicks coach Mike Woodson approaches this like a pre-playoff game series to get what is left of his team ready to go. The Raptors have beat the Knicks 2 straight times this season so far. Look for Rudy Gay vs Carmelo Anthony.

OKC Thunder at Orlando Magic
One of these teams will end a losing streak

NBA Highlights 3.20.13

Miami Heat come back from 27 down to extend streak to 24 games. Brooke Lopez and Deron Williams light up Dallas. OKC and Memphis go to overtime.

The Los Angeles Lakers, after going 8-2 in their last 10 games, find themselves only 2 games out of 6th place. Currently, the 6th spot is being held by the Golden State Warriors who are .500 in their last 10 games. In order for the Lakers to have any shot to advance out of the 1st round they will have to get the 6th spot.

TRT Ban in MMA

by Lance LeVan

Holy Hell, Batman.  They've been talking about it and talking about it, but I NEVER thought they would go through with it.  But the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) has finally banned applications for therapeutic use exemptions (TUE) for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) in boxing and MMA.  This is the state that is the home to the UFC and a large percentage of their fights.
