Behind stellar pitching and a seven run second inning, Kansas City defeated the Giants 10-0 to even the World Series at 3-3.

Royals even the series at three apiece and force the decisive Game 7 back in San Francisco tomorrow night.

Mike Moustakas got the Royals on the board as he doubled to right field, scoring Alex Gordon to give KC an early 1-0 lead. They finally cashed in on a very shaky Jake Peavy who was not very sharp to start this game for the Giants.

The Royals would add another run as Aoki got his first hit of this World Series to drive home Perez and make it 2-0 Kansas City. The inning would turn into a mauling of the Giants as the home team would score five more times to make it 7-0 and blow this game wide open.

They used the Giants plan of plating runs through infield hits, base hits and smart base running. Cain, Hosmer and Butler all had RBI hits to make the inning one that would finish off San Francisco for this Game 6.

They would go onto score three more runs the rest of the game as they completely steamrolled the Giant in a must win game. Ventura and the bullpen for the Royals was terrific as they stymied the San Francisco lineup from start to finish allowing a total of six hits combined.

For the Giants, their pitching suffered right from the start as Jake Peavy never got on track fully as he only lasted 1 1/3 inning before being pulled for a reliever. It added to what has been one part of his career he has never really been able to be consistently solid in: postseason starts.

His pitches were elevated and thrown outside the strike zone for the most part, trying to get hitters to chase. That plan did not workout as he gave up five runs on six hits to sink the chances of the Giants clinching the World Series.
