Andrew Luck and the Colts had a dynamic first quarter and made enough plays on both sides of the ball the rest of the game to hold off  a furious Texans rally and win 33-28 over Houston on Thursday night at Reliant Stadium.

Indianapolis got out to a quick 24-0 lead in the first quarter  as they utterly dominated Houston on both sides of the ball. After the first quarter wrapped up, the Colts had a total of 212 yards to  the Texans 2 yards, that is not  a misprint.

It looked more like a Colts scrimmage than an actual regular season game at time sin that first quarter. It looked as for all the world, this would be a very easy win for the visitors but Houston would not give up.

The Texans would nearly come all the way back as they got to within 33-28 with two late opportunities to complete the comeback. Unfortunately for them they blew both chances as they fumbled twice to help Indianapolis seal the victory. Ryan Fitzpatrick and Andre Johnson both were the culprits in the two late blown chances for Houston.

Andrew Luck would finish 25/44 for 370 yards, three touchdown passes and one interception. T.Y Hilton would be his go to target in this game as Hilton shredded that Texans defense to the tune of 223 yards receiving on  nine catches, including  a touchdown reception.

It was easy pickings for the Indy offense as they were able to give Luck great pass protection, wide receivers won their battles with their match ups in the Texans secondary and even the run game was effective keeping Houston honest.

Ryan Fitzpatrick after  a brutal start warmed up nicely and slowly led Houston back int the game with some quick time passing, neutralizing the Colts defensive pass  rush when he could. He ended up going 15/23 for 212 yards and one touchdown pass.

A solid game but one that was not enough against this high powered Colts offense. Though his offensive line let him down at times, he could not throw over the top of the Indianapolis defense to really loosen them up.

Arian Foster also had  a strong game finishing with 109 yards rushing and two touchdowns as the Texans dropped their second straight game after starting the season 3-1. He as with the entire team, started off slow and then came on strong as the game wore on. He was able to find enough holes to run through and make the Colts defense respect the run game of Houston's.
