Sad news for the St Louis Rams as Bradford tore his ACL after suffering the same injury last season. He now faces another very long road to recovery and murky future with the team that drafted him with the #1 pick coming out of Oklahoma in 2010.

Saturday night against the Cleveland Browns QB Sam Bradford went down on the first drive with a knee injury. What was thought to be a hyperextension of the knee initially turned out to be that he indeed re-injured his ACL the same one he tore last year.
At first glance, the hit Bradford took didn't look to be that bad. After the hit by Browns player Armonty Bryant, he grabbed his knee. Head Coach Jeff Fisher rushed over to see if he was ok, and he eventually walked off on his own power though he was limping.
Bradford was said to have been limping around the locker room after the game. Fisher addressed the media following the game and said they were very optimistic about Bradford's injury stating that it may have been a hyperextension of the knee and that further test would be done the next day.
Further test were done Sunday, and it was revealed through several people through NFL media that Bradford had torn his ACL.
This is very sad news for the Rams organization and the fans. Everyone through the organization was impressed by how Bradford had fought back from his ACL tear last year. Many were pleased by his preseason play up until Saturday.
Last year the Rams were led by Kellen Clemens when Bradford went down. This year they signed veteran QB Shaun Hill the Rams will look for him to lead the offense in Bradford's place.

Hill has plenty of NFL experience as he has been in the league since 2006, making stops with the 49ers, Lions before coming to St. Louis. He will provide stability and a capable QB who can move the offense and still make it productive and efficient.
