Donald was the 13th pick, and the second pick of the Rams two first rounder's in this year's draft. He comes into the NFL a highly decorated college player coming out of Pitt. Donald has won about every major award there was to win in college this past year except the Heisman, he went from dominating the college ranks to dominating at the senior bowl and NFL combine. Many had Donald listed as the top interior lineman entering the league, and he has been proving that thus far.
Spectators and fans have been saying Donald has been showing that he is very hard to block. Only a month or so back at OTA's,  Rams offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer has said Donald has his vote for defensive rookie of the year. It seems he has still been performing as such since training camp has started. Donald is the not the prototypical size for a defensive tackle he is only 6'1, but is quick and strong enough to be dominant at his position.
Quick seems to be the trait that has been attached to him the most. At the combine, he ran a 4.68 forty which is certainly not common for interior defensive linemen. The league is starting to take notice of Donald's dominance Adam Schefter of ESPN tweeted this about Donald last Saturday during Rams camp.
"Just got a text from Rams' practice: Aaron Donald is unreal."
He later tweeted.
"Second text from Rams' camp from another STL official: your source is mistaken. Thankfully Aaron Donald is very real!"
If Donald keeps this up the rest of the league will have to take cover. From here it will only get better for Donald because he is on what many consider the best defensive line in football he will have plenty opportunities to be dominant and help the Rams win games and who knows Donald could even take home defensive rookie of the year award when all said and done.
