The Atlanta Braves resigned OF Jason Heyward to a 2 year $13.3 million deal. This deal avoids arbitration for both parties which is a win for both, less stress.
The 24 year old Heyward had an injury filled 2013 season. Heyward hit .254 with 14 homers and 38 RBIs in 104 games.
Heyward is a very talented player with a lot of upside by the end of this deal will know if they want to put long term dollars behind him.
