NFC North Draft Needs

NFC North Draft Needs By Team
by Jack Ballard

Minnesota Vikings: Derek Carr, Quarterback from Fresno State.

The Vikings need a Quarterback, that will play consistently. Carr is the perfect choice. Though fans are hesitant about this choice, because the last quarterback they drafted was Christian Ponder in 2011 and he was a bust, Derek Carr is the player that will put this team back on track.

Detroit Lions: Sammy Watkins, Wide Receiver from Clemson

Detroit needs a good second option, other than Calvin Johnson, to throw the football to. In almost every game Johnson is doubled or either tripled covered. Thats why I think the Lions should draft a quality wide receiver like Watkins.

Chicago Bears: Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix, Safety from Alabama

Tim Jennings is one of the best Safeties in the NFL. But what if he gets hurt? Or what happens when this thirty-year old decides to retire? Thats why the Bears need a safety. Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix is the player that can fill the shoes of Jennings when he is hurt or retired.

Green Bay Packers: Calvin Pryor, Safety from Louisville

The Packers defense used to be one of the best in the league, but since Charles Woodson has left, it has gone down to one of the worst. Green Bay needs to find a safety that can put this squad back on track. If the Bears don't pick up Clinton-Dix, he would be a perfect choice. But a close second would be Calvin Pryor.
