In a cold and rainy day in Foxborough, the patriots relied on the run game to power pass Indianapolis. The final was 43-22. The Pats LeGarrette Blount ran for 166 yards and an amazing 4 touchdown runs. The second most in post-season history. He did this all on 24 carries.

Stevan Ridley also rushed for 2 touchdowns. Brady only had 13 completions, but with a run game like that he didn’t have to do much.

For Indy’s offense, their leading rusher only put up 63 yards. The pass game was good as Luck threw for 331 yards and two touchdowns. The key of the game was turnovers. Luck threw four interceptions.

At halftime, Indy tralied 21-12 but they didn’t panic. Just last week they came back from a bigger deficit. Luck and the colts drew close with a 35-yard touchdown pass. That made it just a seven point game.

"We just had to keep our foot on the gas pedal," Blount said, "and make sure that they didn't to us what they did to Kansas City.”

That’s exactly what New England did. After that point in the game Blount took over. He answered with a 73-yard touchdown run that was a real shot to the heart for Indy. The next possession Blount ran for his fourth TD of the game to cap things off.

If Blount and this running attack can keep this play up, the Pats are poised for a deep playoff run.
