This World Series title stamps the Giants as a dynasty, rarefied air to reach in major league baseball history. This was one of the most unlikely dynasties to occur especially for a franchise that had for so long struggled to win a single World Series.

Morse got the scoring started for the Giants as he had a sacrifice fly to right field which scored Sandoval to give San Francisco a 1-0 lead.

They would again use the sacrifice fly to score their second run, courtesy of Brandon Crawford, who scored Hunter Pence. The 2-0 start is just what the Giants needed in this Game 7 to settle ion and quiet the crowd at Kauffman Stadium.

The Royals would answer right back as Alex Gordon doubled to right field, which scored Billy Butler to cut the lead to 2-1. Omar Infante then hit a sacrifice fly to center field, which brought home Alex Gordon which tied the game at 2 a piece.

It got the team back into it mentally and the crowd as well. They had survived the early punch the Giants had thrown at them and now were able to focus and try to get that go ahead run.

The Giants would be first to break the tie as Michael Morse came up huge  with a base hit to score Sandoval and give San Francisco a 3-2 lead. This put them in a great situation with a late lead and their bullpen to go to and lean on to get them through these last couple of tricky innings.

Madison Bumgarner would make his presence felt in this game as he had all postseason long for the Giants. He would go  five innings and gave up no runs and only one hit to a Royals batter. It finished off what might have been the greatest individual performance in World Series history.

To not only start two games but also pitch five innings in relief in the same World Series is an accomplishment that we may not ever see happen again especially in this era of pitch counts and limiting pitcher's innings.

Bumgarner now has a record in the World series of 5-0 with a 0.25 ERA , numbers that are hard to even put into perspective in the history of this league. It is sheer greatness that was on display and something that comes around only once in a lifetime if we are so lucky to see it. He has cemented himself as an all time great postseason pitcher at only age 25.

Though the Giants were not the preseason pick to be a contender for a World Series for  third time in five years they are the ones who get the last laugh on everyone.
