The Philadelphia Phillies signed pitcher A.J. Burnett to a one year $16 million deal today.
Burnett pitched for the Pittsburgh Pirates the last two seasons. Last year Burnett was 10-11 with a 3.30 ERA and 209 K's.
Burnett is a good pitcher, I don't know if I would've paid him $16 million, but he is a quality arm.
Burnett has pitched for every team in the major's, ok, not every team. Here is a list of the teams he has played for Marlins, Blue Jays, Yankees and Pirates.
