NBA Owners and Player Association back at the table today
Camp is only three weeks away from starting, but this is the first time that a large group will meet face-to-face. The hope is that enough progress today will push another meeting tomorrow. The owners plan to get together Thursday in Dallas to discuss the outcome of these new meetings. Chris Johnson signs new $53 Million deal
Johnson ends his holdout with the Tennessee Titans just in time for their season opener with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The deal is 5 years for $53 million with $30 million guaranteed. He will receive $31 million over the first two years of the deal. This should help someone's fantasy football team in Week 1!
