Giants vs Vikings Game is Moved to Monday Night! Farve got Mother Nature on his side too!!

The Giants-Vikings game has been moved to Monday night. The NFL announced that the snow accumulation around the Metrodome is too bad for workers to remove. Since when does snow stop an indoor football game in December. Farve now gets another 36hrs to heal...Safe to say that he will start...streak intact.

Dallas Mavericks vs Utah Jazz (2nd Qtr)(Dirk 6-7, 15pts)

The Mavs continue silencing the Jazz in this quarter. The Mavs new and improved is limiting everyone but Deron Williams. No one else is stepping up. The defense is keeping the Jazz under 40% shooting and 25% from the 3pt line. The Mavs offensively has been something to see. Their largest lead this half was 25, not easy against argueable a top 5 team in the Western Conference. Spreading the ball around has been the biggest proponent for the 11 game streak and is again a sign of the confidence in this team tonight. Dirk is 6-7 from the field with 15pts. Deron Williams leads all scorers with 19pts, but is getting no help from his teammates. Mavs lead 54-42.

Dallas Mavericks vs Utah Jazz (1st Qtr Report)(34-19)

The Mavs start off RED HOT shooting 100% the first half of the 1st Qtr. They were able to jump out 21-2 with 6:44 left. Dirk hit his first 3 attempts from the 3pt line, followed by threes from Caron and DeShawn. Once the Jazz woke-up, Deron Williams was able to score some easy buckets in transition and screens. Dirk remained hot for the qtr scoring 13 and not missing a shot. This is the first time this season the Jazz have been behind in the first quarter. Mavs lead big 34-19

Mavs Start RED HOT!! Start off shooting 100%

Mavs start out 3-3 from the 3pt line. Dirk his 3-3 with 2 3pt'ers to put the Mavs up 13-2. Mavs shooting 100% with 9:24 left in the first....

Dallas Mavericks vs Utah Jazz (PreGame Report)

"The win streak is not significant at all...we got to be getting better", commented Coach Carlisle as the Mavs try to extend their league best win streak to 12-0. Tonight will not be as easy as Thursday against the New Jersey Nets. This will be the Mavs second game against the Jazz in 10 days; beating them on the road the first time. Carlisle expressed how hard it has been for his team to win back-to-back games against winning teams; i.e. Denver and New Orleans as teams they lost to the second time.
The longest tenured coach in the NBA Jerry Sloan is no dummy. When Royce asked him what will the Jazz have to do to win this game he simply said, "make shots". Even Coach Carlisle said that they have to be ready for Deron Williams and guard him without fouling. Deron, the pride of the Colony, comes back home averaging a double-double with 22pts and 10 assists. His style of play could really hurt the Mavs if he gets the bigs in foul trouble early.
Will the Jazz be able to do what 11 teams have failed to do the last 11 games, beat the Mavs? They definitely have the talent and the coach. Its gonna be up to the Mavs to hold serve.

Devin Harris Sidelined after Fall in the 1st Qtr; Mavs are holding serve 55-40 (Halftime Report)

Devin Harris left the game with 6:33 left in the 1st qtr and Nets have been able to do nothing since then. The Mavs shot 64.9% in the first half with leads as big as 18pts. Shawn Marion has 14 and Caron Butler has 13 to lead all scorers. The Nets have no players in double figures in any statistical category. Devin did return late in the 2nd qtr, but with a heavily wrapped shoulder. Jason Kidd ends the second half with 3pt shot with .03 left.

Dallas Mavericks vs New Jersey Nets (PreGame Report) (Return of Avery)

The Mavs play their 2nd of a 6 game home stand against their former coach Avery Johnson, the only Mavs coach that can say he took the franchise to the finals. "It wasn't just a nudge or push to get that team deep in the playoffs" said Coach Johnson referring to his first season as Mavs head coach. "Thankfully Nelly let me coach some games and practices to help get me ready."
The "Lil General" finds himself in a much different role with the 6-16 Nets, a team on the mend from finishing dead last. He knows that he has to have patience in developing this team with Devin Harris driving plus lottery pick Derrick Favors and the gritty Brook Lopez in the back seat.
The Mavs are on a tear in the NBA with a 10-game win streak. They have also played the role of "streak stopper" this season and now find themselves the hunted. Coach Carlisle realizes that Avery knows these players inside and out. This is ultimately a "trap" game with the Utah Jazz coming in on Saturday. Tyson Chandler is back in the line-up tonight after missing the last game due to a stomach virus. Surprisingly, he wasn't missed much with Ian Mahinmi scoring 12pts and 10 rebounds Tuesday. The team has been able to police themselves from falling victim to these type of "trap" games this season, tonight they will have to do it again.

Dallas Mavericks vs Houston Rockets (PreGame Report)(Dirk named Western Conference Player of the Week)

Tonight the RED-HOT Mavs take on the 5-11 Houston Rockets. Today Dirk Nowitzki is named Western Conference Player of the Week. He led to the Mavs last week to 4-0 while averaging 31pts and 7.5 rebounds per game. Dirk is currently ranked 4th in the league in scoring with 26.1ppg.  Coach Carlisle commented during the pre-game press conference that "success breeds unity" and "everyone fits into what we're doing." The Rockets make the trip up I-45 without their two biggest players Yao Ming and Aaron Brooks. Speaking with Coach Carlisle he said even without those Mavs do to win he simply said, "keep the Rockets off the free throw line". When the Rockets have won, they have been to free throw line at least 35 times.

Coach Eric Spoelstra talks about "The Bump"; Losing is "painful enough"

After the Miami Heat lost to Dallas this past Saturday, falling to 9-8 on the season, Coach Spoelstra was asked specifically about "the bump" he received from Lebron James. He blatantly avoided the question looking shocked that we even asked the question. He did however mention that the losing this season has been "painful enough". "That's the way it should be, it should not be fun out here", he said when commenting on the frustration that the players expressed during timeouts late in the game. "The fact that guys are upset about this, that is a sign to start a change. The guys care in that locker room and that's a place to start. Our next step forward is to remember this pain going forward."

Dallas Mavericks beat the Miami Heat 106-95; Heat hold players only meeting after 8th loss

The Mavs beat the Heat tonight by 11pts. The Mavs had 6 players in double figures led by Caron Butler with 23 and Dirk Nowitzki with 22. The Heat only had 3 players in double figures, and you can easily guess those names. The lead for the Mavs balloned to 17 in the 3rd quarter with Dirk out of the game. Coach Spoelstra after the game mentioned how mad and emotional his team was throughout the second half. He said, "we are tired of the pain of losing" when referring to the 9-8 record the team now has.

There was a 45 minute wait to get into the locker room as the Heat held a "players only" meeting. Once Lebron James and Dewayne Wade came out they talked about that meeting. "It was players only, no coaches" said Lebron. He went on to say, "everyone got a chance to get things off their chest."

Wade simply said, "the championship team I was on went 10-10, so I feel like we will win games." Lebron continued to reference that even at 9-8 the Heat are still playoff contenders in the Eastern Conference.

Dallas Mavs vs Miami Heat (PreGame Report)

"They are still a matchup problem", says Coach Rick Carlisle during the pre-game press conference when asked about Miami's Big 3. The Miami Heat back in to Dallas with a 9-7 record, far from the predicted domination before the season started. The Mavs are 11-4 and playing there 4th game in 5 days, a stretch where they played the Pistons, Thunder, and the Spurs. All comeback wins. Coach Carlisle says the team is "in good shape for tonight" and everyone will be "energetic". If you haven't been watching the Mavs you have missed some good ball. Tyson Chandler has become the spark for the team and a dominate force in the paint. Last night against the Spurs he went for a season high 19pts and 8 rebounds. Against OKC he had 17pts and 18 boards. Tonight, a former Mavs center Erick Dampier plays his former teammates. Chris Bosh makes his first return to his hometown in a Heat uniform. Brendan Haywood will also play this game. Dirk and the Mavs have been red-hot this past week, and the Heat have been cold with only 1 win in the last 4 games. This should be a great game. The Heat have all the talent needed, its just matter of time before the start to play like it.

Dallas Cowboys vs Detroit Lions (PreGame Report)(The Battle of Tha "D")

Well the battle of 2-7 teams starts at 12:15 at JerryWorld in Arlington, TX. The Cowboys are coming off an impressive win against then NFC East leading New York Giants. The Lions crawl in wounded at QB and RB trying to bounce back from a road loss to a then no-win Buffalo Bills team. Interim head coach Jason Garrett had the guys in pads during the week for only the second time this season. The offense should hopefully take a page from the Bills and run the ball. Fred Jackson last week rushed for 133 yards. With the 3-headed running back that the Cowboys use, all 3 backs should see some action. That leads us to the real battle for the offense, the front 4. The Cowboys lineman will have to contend with Ndamukong Suh and Corey Williams. If the blocking holds up like it did against the Giants front 4, this shouldn't be a problem. The Cowboys defense will again have to play big in the secondary. Terrance Newman did practice this week and is expected to start. Lions QB Sean Hill passed for 323 yards last week and WR Calvin Johnson accounted for 128 yards. There is an interesting back story to this game. Cowboys QB Jon Kitna led the Detroit Lions to a no win season not long ago. Although this lead to a first round pick in Matthew Stafford, Lions fans have not forgiving him. Cowboys WR Roy Williams was the Lions franchise player for a number of seasons. Lions' fans have long accused Williams of quitting on plays and his team on several occasions. Ex-teammate Lions center Dominic Raiola went on Pro Football Talk to talk about Williams current status with the Cowboys and his declining production. Overall, the battle of 2-7, doesn't sound like good tv on Sunday, but with the Cowboys high hopes and the Lions pride on the line this should be a good game.

Dallas Mavs vs Chicago Bulls (3rd Qtr)

Dirks comes out in the second half and hits the Mavs 2nd 3pt shot of the game. Terry creates a turnover and puts the Mavs in the lead for the first time. Tyson Chandler has just as many fouls as points so far. Caron starts to turn it up giving the Mavs their biggest lead by 7. Dirk takes over pushing the lead to 12. The zone defense seems to have tightened up and is creating turnovers leading to points, something that did not happen in the first half. Chandler picks up his 4th foul and leaves the game and Chicago starts back scoring in the paint. Dirk keeps the Mavs out front. He has 30pts and 6 rebounds. Mavs lead 59-56...

Dallas Mavs vs Chicago Bulls (Halftime)

Barea starts the 2nd quarter and makes a great defensive play against a streaking Derrick Rose on a fast break. On the offensive end he plays scrappy and gets the Mavs down by only 4. Shawn Marion is the first Mav to score in the paint with a dunk and a lay-up. The Bulls react and start an offense explosion leading to an 11pt lead with 8:22 left. The Mavs have yet to make a 3pt basket. Marion keeps Mavs close with 8 quick pts off the bench. Even Rose on the bench the Bulls seem to hold a lead, now by 10 with 4:13 left. J Kidd makes the Mavs first 3pt shot, finally! In attempt to play the Bulls in zone coverage they have had 3 illegal defense calls so far. Dirk pulls them within 6 with 2mins left. They are able to cut the lead down to only 4. Bulls Lead 39-34...

The Mavs a shooting on 39% field goal percentage and even worse from the 3pt line with only one made. The defense in the paint has been terrible.

Dallas Mavs vs Chicago Bulls (1st Qtr)

The Bulls take advantage of the Mavs down-low in the paint for the first half of the first quarter. Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson are giving Dirk and Tyson problems. Joakim's agressive style led to a techincal foul at the 5:29 mark. Dirk has been the only scoring option for the Mavs with his jumper. He leads all players with 10pts. The Mavs have scored no points in the paint this quarter. Derrick Rose is on his way to a double-double with 7pts and 3 assists. Bulls lead 19-13...

Tonight the 7-3 Mavs take on the 6-4 Chicago Bulls. The Mavs are trying to bounce back from a tough loss to the New Orleans Hornets Wednesday night. The have played the Bulls twice in the preseason and won both. Guarding the point guard doesn't get any easier tonight with Derrick Rose in town. During the pre-game press conference Coach Carlisle mentioned his "electric presence on the court" and how his "skill level keeps moving up". Coach also talked about Joakim Noah and his ability to get clean-up points off offensive rebounds. Tyson Chandler and Derrick Rose were teammates this summer during the FIBA World Championships winning gold. This will be the Mavs first nationally televised game of this season and you can tell. ESPN has cameras everywhere from catching the players exiting vehicles to with us in the press box. Caron Butler has is second start after coming back from injury tonight after a lack-luster performance in the Big Easy. The Mavs come out smoking with two big 3pters to cut the lead to 3pts. That brings Chris Paul back in the ball game. The Hornets continue to shoot well from the 3pt line with a 3s by Green and Peja. Jason Kidd answers back with two big 3s of his own to bring the Mavs within 4, but Peja answers back with another 3. Coach Carlisle goes with a small lineup with Barea, Kidd, and Terry the proves to work better in transition and the Mavs cut the lead to 3 with 4:17 left. Dirk hits a huge 3pter to pull the Mavs all square with 3:15 left. Kidd adds another 3pter to put the Mavs up by 3. Ariza answers back with a huge 3 to bring them back even 95-95 with 40.5secs left. Jet Terry connects on a jumper off a screen to put the Mavs up by 2. A real clutch shot for Jet proves to be the game winner as Ariza missed two good looks from the 3pt line. Jason Kidd grabs a rebound to end the Hornets chances. After a free throw from Dirk and Emeka Okafur's failed attempt on an inbounds play with .7secs left, Mavs Win 99-95

He gets his 4th foul with 7:34 left, and gets pulled out. Hornets foul troubles continue putting the Mavs in the bouns with over 6mins left. Coach Carlisle gets him team started in the 2nd Qtr with a technical foul agruing a bad call on Barea. Chris Paul takes a rest to start the quarter but the Hornets still cut the lead to 1 with 8:29 left. Peja ties it up at 33 all with big three at the 7:29 mark. Peja kept the hot hand and put the Hornets up for the first time 39-37 with 5:46 left to play. Paul finally checks back in and comes in firing hitting a deep three. Bryan Cardinal hits two big 3pt'ers to keep the Mavs in the game and down by only one, but Chris Paul is on fire and hasn't missed a shot in the quarter so far. He has 20pts the first half and the Hornets lead 52-47.

Dallas Mavericks vs New Orleans Hornets (1st Qtr)

Tyson Chandler gets the Mavs started with a dunk inside. That led the Mavs on a 8-0 run to start the game. The Mavs continued to shoot red-hot. The Mavs feel in love with the 3pt shot early and didn't shoot very well. Most of their points are coming from penetration to the basket. The Hornets were able to cut the lead down to 1 with 42.7 left. Barea on Paul is looking like a big mismatch right. Paul is torching him so far. Mavs end off the quarter in the lead 27-24.

Dallas Mavericks vs New Orleans Hornets (PreGame Report)

Coach Rick Carlisle knows what he has to do to have a chance to beat the undefeated Hornets. In the pre-game press conference he said, "the toughest job is guarding Paul...he is one of the really unique players in the game." When asked who was gonna have the task of guarding one of the leagues best he stated it would be a combination of Deshawn Stevenson, Jason Kidd, JJ Barea, and whomever else he can put in there. The last time the Mavs faced an undefeated team this late in the season was during the 2005-06 season, the 8-0 Pistons. The were 6-2 then, like now, and beat the Pistons 119-82 to give them their first loss. That same season they went to the NBA Finals. Hey, who thought the Cowboys would beat the Giants by 13 yesterday...these things happen. I will be looking at Tyson Chandler taking on his old team and going up against Emeka Okafur. The should be a great matchup tonight. Caron Butler is still out for this game.Stay tuned for quarter-by-quarter reporting LIVE from the AAC!

Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants (4th Qtr) (Cowboys Win 33-20

Cowboys start the 4th qtr with a punt to a Giants offense that is showing signs of heating up. Pasquarelli's new zone defense has been able to give Eli a few problems passing the ball and limiting the running game. A big drop by Hakeem Nicks helps. Boss makes a great grab to make it 4th and inches. In a moment of redemption the Cowboys defense hold with a big stop hit from Bradie James on Brandon Jacobs. We see the allusive turnover by the defense. Kitna connects on a 48yd pass to Bryant that gets overturned. The Cowboys still get a roughing-the-passing call to keep the drive going. Kitna throws a bad pick forcing the ball to Dez in the endzone. The Giants penalties woes continue, now a holding call that negates a TD pass to Nicks. On the next play, a bad snap bags another elusive turnover for the Dallas defense. Dallas makes a big mistake not taking a shot to the endzone, Buehler misses another kick. Newman and Sensabaugh get into a physical altercation after a play. Garrett quickly calls a timeout to get the defensive backs back focused. The proves be an excellent coaching move, Alan Ball grabs an INT to end the Giant's drive and hopes of a come back. Barber locks in the Cowboy's second win of the season with great running for two first downs to set-up the "V" formation and a kneel down. Cowboys win 33-20. Jason Garrett Era 1-0.

Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants (3rd Qtr)

The Cowboys playing lights out sounded like a dream just last week, but thanks to New Meadowlands Stadium Christmas comes early. Game gets delayed a few minutes due to partial light failure. Next play we open our next present and find the longest pass play of the season for the Cowboy's offense, a 71-yd TD screen to Felix Jones. Cowboys 26-6. The power completely shuts off on the Giants offense that causes another longer delay. The stadium went pitch black. Mike Jenkins makes and appearance again, but in street clothes with a reported neck strain. Eli's third time in the red zone proves to be the charm hitting Manningham for their first TD of the day. Cowboys still lead 26-13. Time to see what the Cowboys are really made of. Dez continues to be a go-to-guy in the Garrett Cowboys offense with a 46yd run-after-catch on third down. Kitna hits old teammate Roy Williams to convert a 3rd and 22. Next play hits Miles Austin for another TD that puts Kitna 13-19, 3 TDs, 322yards, and no INTs. Cowboys 33-13. The Giants answer right back on a quick TD to Kevin Boss, setup by a pass interference call against McCann guarding Nicks. 33-20. Still a lot of time left in this one.

Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants (Halftime)

The 2nd Qtr starts with glimpses of a Wade Phillip's coached team. Kitna trips on a 3rd and Goal. Buehler barely makes a FG that puts the Boys up 9-3. Buehler's bad day continues, kicking the kick-off out-of-bounds. Eli comes out and drives the Giants offense to the red zone picking apart the Cowboys secondary. Jenkins goes out with a neck injury leaving two back-ups. No Problem! Rookie Bryan McCann puts his name in Cowboys history with the longest interception return of 101 yards for a TD. Cowboys up 16-3. Dallas defense holds strong on the Giant's offense that looks like they are 1-7 right now. After the Giant's punter kicks another short punt to help the Cowboys, Kitna hits tight-end Bennett to put them in the red zone. Garrett makes a bad play call to Witten in the flat that comes up way short. Buehler hits another FG. Dallas up 19-3. Eli Manning finally decides to pick on the depleted Dallas secondary and hits Nicks for a long reception. Sensabaugh and Scandrick make two big plays on 2nd and 3rd down to limit the Giants to another FG. 19-6. Makes you wonder just who was causing the confusion in the secondary for the Cowboys this season. Cowboys don't get cocky though. Instead of trying to force the ball down field at the end of the half with, they run out the clock to go into the locker room with a rare lead. 19-6 Cowboys.

Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants (1st Qtr)

Garrett's first head coach decision comes during the first offensive possession. He decides not to challenge a questionable spot on a leap from Barber to get the first down. Really, Barber didn't have to leap in the first place. Garrett, by first look, seems more vocal with the players; congratulating the defense for limiting the Giant offense to only a field goal. Garrett, however, could not pass up a second challenge opportunity on a Dez Bryant catch in the endzone ruled not a catch. Called gets over turned...TD...Garrett is 1-0 in challenges so far. Buehler misses an extra point that costs my wife $25 on her football board! Wonder what it will cost me! They do get the ball back and Felix misses a rushing touchdown by a foot to end the 1st Qtr. Cowboys lead 6-3.

Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants (Pre-Game Report)

Well Cowboy Fans the new Jason Garrett era begins at the New Meadowlands. The Boys had their first mid-week practice with pads since training camp. It will be interesting to see who starts for this team and who gets sit down!

Breaking News: Wade has been fired, Jason Garrett will be replacement

Ch. 11 news is reporting Wade has been fired and replaced with Jason Garrett. Stay Tuned!

Wade Phillips finally shows up to Valley Ranch...

Wade finally shows up to Cowboy headquarters today. After all the tough talk Jerry had last night, we may have been sold more wolf tickets.

How long will Wade Phillips last?

Last night Jerry Jones had some strong comments about his preseason Super Bowl favorites. He said several players will pay for this including "players and coaches". When asked if he could put his finger on any one reason for the bad season so far he said, "I don't have enough fingers". After the game, Wade did not ride the team plane. He rode on the plane with Jerry. This morning I showed up to Valley Ranch and no Wade in his normal parking spot. There is a press conference scheduled for 4pm CST today. Will Wade be there?

Dallas Cowboys vs Green Bay Packers (The End)

Mason Crosby kicks a FG to put the Pack up 38-7. Clay Matthews snags a tipped ball of a blitz for a pick 6. 45-7. Did I mention dumb penalties already? After a punt to pin Green Bay on the 2yd line, a kicking-team-player-out-of-bounds call gives the Pack another kick. I guess Dez Bryant is a rookie afterall. He loses a punt in the air, grazes the ball, and the Packers recover. At this point, does Wade even make it on the team plane as the head coach? Next week Dallas has to go to New York to play the Giants. How bad can it get, right?

Dallas Cowboys vs Green Bay Packers (3rd Qtr)

3rd quarter starts with more of the same. Kitna gets sacked for a fumble and the secondary is still getting exposed. Rogers connects for his 3rd passing TD to Jones. 35-7. Rodgers is well on his way to match David Garrard's 4 passing TD day last week against the Cowboys. Roy Williams takes a big shot from Nick Collins in the back of the helmet. Collins can expect a nice big bill from Roger on Tuesday for a helmet-to-helmet hit. Felix Jones, another "star", allows Bishop to come free on Kitna for another sack fumble that Jones recovers. A mistake like that got Romo a broken collarbone. It wouldn't be the Cowboys without some dumb penalties. They get a 12-men-on-the-field flag on a 3rd and 5 to continue the Packers drive.

Dallas Cowboys vs Green Bay Packers (Halftime)

So much for the defense holding...The Packers score to start the 2nd quarter. The Cowboys offense answers back by going 3 and out giving up a big sack. Clay Matthews is making a strong case for Defensive MVP. Green Bay comes back with another TD to go up 14-0. That makes two for Brandon Jackson, one rushing and one receiving. Coach Phillips tries to challenge, but like his performance this season comes up short. Cowboys offense looks terrible. Kitna over-throws a wide open Austin. Witten allows Matthews to single-handly stop Barber on 3rd and 1. As Collingsworth said, these are the "stars" making bad plays. Like DeMarcus Ware with a face mask call to negate a tackle for a loss. Rogers throws his second TD to cap a 10 play 93yd drive. 21-0. Next Play. Rookie up from the practice squad, McCann, gets stripped on the kickoff and gives up another TD. 28-0. No challenge from Wade, no timeouts to do so. Thanks Wade. Dez Bryant, a rookie I think, continues his march to the Pro Bowl with a long reception to put the Cowboys in the red zone. He then shows some heart and snatches a TD on a fade route. 28-7.

Dallas Cowboys vs Green Bay Packers (1st Qtr)

Well I guess it could be worse. The score is only 0-0 right now. The offense starts out with a 3 and out series without throwing a pass. The defense bends, but doesn't break and even blocks a 54yd FG attempt. Kitna throws his first INT trying to hit Miles Austin long. The biggest run play of the game so far belongs to Rodgers with a 27yd scamper.

Dallas Mavs vs Denver Nuggets (3rd Qtr)

The 3rd qtr ends 79-79. Melo has woke up with 15pts in the quarter and now has 25pts tied with Terry to lead all scorers. Dirk hit 9 this quarter and has 23pts. Setting up for a great finish!

Dallas Mavs vs Denver Nuggets (Halftime Stats)

Jet Terry continues his great game now with 23pts including a huge 3pt'er to pull the Mavs down by only one, 52-53. Dirk has 14pts and Melo leads the Nuggets with only 10pts.
Halftime Stats:
Mavs
45.9% Shooting percentage
50% from 3pt line
23 Rebounds
14 pts in the paint
10 turnovers

Nuggets
51.2% Shooting Percentage
60.7% from 3pt Line
18 Rebounds
18 pts in paint
6 turnovers

Dallas Mavs vs Denver Nuggets (1st Qtr)

End of the first quarter and Mavs are down by 2, 26 - 24. Jet Terry is on fire with 14pts already! Same case down low with the mavs giving up to many pts in the paint and off turnovers...
